Today was an ok day. Filled with ups and a few downs, but overall a good day.
I was getting ready to go to bed and I thought I would take a moment and write in my journal.
The only thing I can think to says is...
This life/world/universe can really just suck the life out of you. Left/right/up/down/...not sure where you are going. So much confusion, to the point of just wanting to scream.
Good news...
I have not resorted to the GIANT animal known as FOOD. It has not become my comfort or my security blanket. I guess that is why I noted this entry neutral. I am ok and I still love my life, but there are those days. Thank goodness for the Gym and friends.
Oh yeah...Quote of the Day:
You can mourn for the life that you have lost to time, or you can celebrate the life that you have left to live

I received this by e-mail this morning from Joel Osteen I thought it was perfect for everyone starting on Step 123 or currently in your Step 123 journey. It is a reminder that by Starting, sticking and staying with Step 123 you are choosing life. Embrace today, don't look back at your past. The past is behind you and no matter what you do you can not change the past. Today is what matters, choose today to triumph in life.
Today's Scripture
“…I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life…” (Deuteronomy 30:19, AMP)
Today's Word from Joel and Victoria
Every day we have the opportunity to choose thoughts of life and victory or choose thoughts of defeat and despair. God promises that when we choose His ways, we are choosing life and victory.
Imagine that you’re holding a glass of dirty water. It’s full of all kinds of particles, sand, and dirt. If you were to start pouring good, clean water into that glass and let it overflow, eventually, all the dirty water would be gone and you would have a glass of perfectly clear water. Your life works the same way. You are renewed by the washing of the water of the Word of God. You may be carrying particles of dirt from the past. You may have old destructive habits or mindsets that you are trying to get rid of. But the more you pour God’s Word into yourself, the more clean and alive everything becomes. Don’t choose to sit around with that mucky, dirty water on the inside of you. Allow His Word to cleanse you by reading and declaring it over yourself every day. As you choose His Word, you choose His life, and you’ll experience His hand of blessing in ways you never dreamed!
A Prayer for Today
Father in heaven, thank You for Your promise of life and blessing. I choose life in You today and invite You to wash me with Your Word. Help me to stay close to You always. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I did no cardio Sat or Sun which is a discipline I must master. My workout today was 10 minutes on the bike and 8 lifting sations plus 10 minutes on the treadmill jogging( some of the time a very fast walk) . But I do know I lost some weight and inches last week. Hope all of you have a very good week. Please keep your faith in God and he will you to....

Skipped Sunday due to a busy schedule. But it is Monday and I spent 10 minutes on the stairstepper and 20 minutes on the treadmill. Yes it is harder to push yourself but worth it, I keep my heart rate at an average of 143.9 for 30 minutes which is perfect for me to reach my goal.
Have a blessed day....

I just started a new 12 week workout plan called weight loss and tone. My goal is to reach a body fat percentage of 17 percent and get to my ideal weight during the holiday season. The first workout was awesome and required 10 minutes of running on the treadmill which is a bit of an issue for me, but I did it with no problem. I am going to also journal my diet so stay tuned for further results. May God Bless you Always and Have great workout.......
